FAQsWhere is Kenai Riverside Lodge located?
At milepost 50.1 on the Sterling Highway in the town of Cooper Landing, AK, approximately a one hour drive from either Soldotna or Seward and a two and a half hour drive from Anchorage. The lodge is tucked along a scenic stretch of the Upper Kenai River. This central location is a perfect place to base your explorations of the Kenai Peninsula, whether you'll be rafting, fishing, hiking or sightseeing.
How far in advance should I book a cabin at Kenai Riverside Lodge?
We book cabin reservations no more than 30 days in advance of stay. If we are full for the night of your request, we may suggest means to contact alternate accommodations in the Cooper Landing area.
How many beds are in each cabin?
Most cabins have two double beds, while some have two double beds and one twin bed.
What cabin amenities are offered in at Kenai Riverside Lodge?
Each cabin is well appointed with comfortable beds, heating with individual temperature controls, lights, electricity, local art and recently renovated private bathrooms with shower and separate vanity area.
Do you have restrictions on pets or smoking?
We do not allow pets in the cabins, and due to high fire danger, no smoking is permitted inside any of the buildings.
Are there restaurants in the area?
Cooper Landing is a small town with a few local restaurants and a grocery store. Please stop by the main office at Kenai Riverside Lodge for local suggestions.
Can Kenai Riverside Lodge guests use the sauna?
Absolutely! The wood crafted sauna is a treat for all guests who experience it. It's just a few steps away from an invigorating plunge in the Kenai River.
How much does it cost for a cabin rental?
Cabins are $169/night, based on double occupancy ($10 surcharge for triple occupancy, $20 surcharge for quadruple occupancy). Price includes hot breakfast buffet. |
